Take your practice to the next level with private wellness sessions

Inspired by yogic philosophy, ancient healing modalities and many years of fine-tuning my own practice, my private wellness sessions are curated to suit each individual student based on their unique needs, abilities and lifestyle.

I share movement, breath play, meditation and massage as an embodied practice for inner transformation as well as external conditioning. Combining my trainings in Yoga, Breathwork, Energy Healing and Thai Bodywork I create soulful and restorative wellness sessions that are bespoke to each client.

Yogic Philosophy

History

Yoga originated in Northern India over 5,000 years ago, introducing practices that embraced the physical body as the means to achieve enlightenment, rejuvenation and a prolonged life.

Yamas & Niyamas

Yamas are a list of what not to do in order to reduce our suffering and Niyamas are ways to support our internal growth and deepen our relationship with ourselves.

Asana & Pranayama

Asana which translates to “posture”, relates to the physical practice of yoga. Pranayama translates to “breath control”, and can be defined as ‘mastery of life force’ or ‘control of breath’.

Pratyhara

Pratyhara or “sensory withdrawal” consists of training the mind to overcome distractions such as fear, cravings and desires by withdrawing the five senses; sight, sound, smell, taste and touch.

Dharana & Dhayana

Dharana or “concentration” is finding the power of a focused mind by drawing the attention back to the point of focus. Dhayana or “meditation” is where the process of going inward deepens.

Samadhi

Samadhi, or “enlightenment” is a blissful state that can be described as ecstasy, inner peace, union with the divine and a feeling of oneness with everything and everyone in the universe.
